Probably JSA got its staffing wrong on this deal. either didnt report other support partners or didnt involve them at all. Or Sidharrth must have himself handled merger control, labor law, regulatory, M&A, tax, IP, TSG, or just piggyback-ed on CAM to save costs for his client ..so many possibilities..

This happens when companies start to view legal service as a mere commodity and look for the cheapest in the market!!

Axis had to hire 8 partners (and must be at least 16 associates) against one Sidharrth! Way to go, kudos to JSA . Keep going

Kian : what's the basis of reporting individual lawyer names? Is there a minimum cut off, say time spent on the deal? Looks a bit absurd one firm having 8 partners, the other just 1

Also, why do (and on what basis) some firms report non-partner names in deal reports and some don't? Does this impact individual deal credits?

Only if LI took the trouble of giving each partners role in the deal ! But sigh its just easier to box them. Roll the news out, captain ;-)
