Khaitan & Co Bangalore general corporate and commercial partner Abhilekh Verma is set to leave the firm, after six years with it.

The Delhi University 1995 LLB alumnus practised independently for 4 years before joining JSA, working in house at Bharti Airtel and re-joining JSA as a partner for 2 years before founding PAV Law Offices in Delhi in 2008.

Khaitan Bangalore absorbed him in 2011.

He did not respond to requests for comment since this morning.

Khaitan commented in an email: “Abhilekh Verma – Partner (Corporate) based at Bangalore, has decided to move on from the firm to pursue other opportunities. Abhilekh has been with the Firm since 2011 and contributed immensely to the growth of our Bangalore office. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

What an absolute gem of a person. He is also an excellent lawyer and I'm sure, he will do well at whatever he chooses to do next.
