Milind Jha grabs partnership after return to LLILS

Link Legal India Law Services (LLILS) promoted re-hired associate partner Milind Jha to partner in its corporate and projects practice.

A CLC Delhi 2006 alumnus, Jha had begun his career at Link Legal and had returned to the firm in May after being poached for two years by K Law.

He is experienced in working with airports, railways and metro railways, roads, energy and social infrastructure sectors, aviation, manufacturing, defence, media and retail, according to LLILS’ press release. He focusses on M&A, investments, private equity and general corporate advisory work but also advises on securities markets transactions including public listings, equity placements, takeovers and re-structuring, the firm added.

LLILS managing partner Atul Sharma and co-managing partner Nusrat Hassan congratulated him.

Hey Kian and Prachi, you highlighted the ganja incident at Jindal and allowed nasty comments by NLU students against Jindal. Do you have the guts to print the report below about NALSAR??

“poached by K Law” ha ha. The “loyal” guy left with Ajay to K Law. [...] This promotion shows nothing but the “favoritism culture” of Link Legal, and makes it clear that to grow at Link Legal you need to make sure that you eat those samosas with the certain “Masters of Law”.....rest the ranking of the firm says it all

Its like alot of people still hold a grudge against Ajay, sensing that from the comment above. But its ok! he moved on with his own difficulties and the rest of the team also finally found solace in other firms. So lets not talk about history.

"Sensing from the comment above"...Buddy the comment was on the "Samosa Culture" and not on Ajay. Lets not deviate from the point. Ajay had all valid reasons to move on. The very reasons which makes a hand to mouth firm, which is unable to even pay bonuses after declaring the same, sponsor LLMs of few. The untalented bunch that moved with Ajay have all come back. This Seems like an "intelligent" reply from the HR Head - Sir "tum se na ho payega" -please focus on recycling CAM PPTs.

Amidst the exodus of its newly recruited business like, non-Samosa loving partners, LL is only able to recall its old, good for nothing deserters. Market reputation is zilch, they don't pay bonus, increments, even agreed retainer component. Almost all DH partners have left or looking out ferociously. HR is a complete disaster.

Non deservants like you can only sit and whine!! Why dont you do some work to be worthy of the bonus. We have all received our bonuses...High time you wake up and smell the coffee!!

Long overdue!! This babu came in to the firm less than 6 months back.. toh long overdue kaise bhai?? At this rate other AP and partners who struggled to pull the firm out of 2015 mess must have retired with a huge kitty (hopefully if Sharma gave any) by now.

News in the market is that the salaried partners and other seniors are yet to get any bonus or increment. The firm has somehow managed to pay bonus to associates- Any truth? ...Seems to a bad state of affairs

Every year, they have some crisis or the other so as to delay / deny bonus and increments. All crib at my kiosk around 5 pm.

Lol! The bonus that associates received could only buy peanuts that too the burnt ones. Pathetic state of affairs, wonder how the firm is at all gonna survive in 3 years time. A place of full of trash. Booked tickets for Goa (they claimed to have booked tickets) and took everyone to Jaipur for offsite. This is the level that they stoop down to. Grow up Sharma ji, only ageing doesn’t imply growing up.
