The former Zomato general counsel (GC) GT Thomas Phillippe, who had joined in 2018 and left in June 2020 and was recently replaced by L&L partner Damini Bhalla, has joined ShareChat as GC, according to an update on his Linked-in profile.

He had been external general counsel to the app since October 2020, according to Linked-in, but has now joined full-time.

The company has recently closed a $502m fundraising round, with IndusLaw advising the company and its founders.
