Flipkart group general counsel Bijoya Roy is due to join multinational alcoholic drinks giant Pernod Ricard as its South Asia GC from 12 April, reported Bar & Bench.
She had joined Flipkart in Bangalore in 2019, shortly after it was bought by Walmart. Previously she had been at Thomson Reuters.

Does anyone have any information about Flipkarts legal team’s structure- ive seen too many people being called Group General Counsel. Ive always thought that is held by just 1 person - unless corporates have evolved it to be held by more people.
