Former Danaher regional counsel Vivek Mittal has joined Dr Reddy’s Laboratories as its global GC, based in Mumbai.

Mittal succeeds Suprio Dasgupta in the role, who has moved to Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as general counsel.

That move follows Glenmark global general counsel Kaizad Hazari having joined Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India as general counsel, reported moneycontrol (after India legal head Sapan Gupta’s move to London to become global GC).

Mittal will be heading up a global legal team of more than 50 at Reddy’s; at Danaher he had been looking after its diagnostics platform for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and India region.
