Shuva continues building Tata in-house empire: 1 from Intel, 1 from Piramal, 1 from SAM

Intel senior attorney Poornima Sampath (NLSIU Bangalore 2002), Piramal Bain’s former head legal Supriya Bhardwaj (GLC Mumbai 2004) and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas principal associate Sayak Maity have joined Tata Sons, reported Bar & Bench.

Tata Sons general counsel (GC) Shuva Mandal has been recruiting heavily into the Tata topco, with all group companies having had around 450 lawyers earlier this year.

They will all leave soon! Work environment is quite stifling and waste of time! Leaving Intel to join Tata can only be for money nothing else

@Topi looks like you predicted it right bruh!! Heard that the team, which was anyway small in size compared to even mid size corporate's in-house team, is dismantling veryyyy fast.

They report to a younger new comer substitue. And may move on to more suitable roles or to less relevant Tata companies: or catering and travel agency with PR is also a big sector.

How is the NUJS group head some of these people are now reporing to doing? Shuva left and his team mostly left , PS has been shifted to a Tata group and a NUJS group GC has swooped in.
How are things with working under him? Better than being team Shuva?
