Essar Group general counsel (GC) Hemant Kumar has resigned to Larsen &Toubro as its group general counsel, reported the Economic Times:

A legal veteran of three decades, Kumar will oversee big-ticket litigation and arbitration and will also advise the group companies on strategic matters, including acquisitions, said a person familiar with the development.
