NLS grad Kirti Ram Hariharan gets bump to GC at Baring PE Asia

Singapore-based Baring Private Equity Asia deputy general counsel Kirti Ram Hariharan has been promoted to general counsel transactions at the company last month.

His promotion follows Weil, Gotshal & Manges hiring as a senior counsel his former boss and general counsel William Hay, as reported by Asian Legal Business.

Hariharan, a former Amarchand Mangaldas partner who had moved to Paul Hastings in Hong Kong in 2008, had joined Barings as a deputy GC in 2011, as we had reported at the time.

He is a 2000 graduate of NLSIU Bangalore.

As far as I know, I don't think she's quit yet. There are talks going on and she is likely to leave, but I don't think notice has been handed in yet...

Wow ! Is Dorothy quitting ? that would be sad. She was the face of CAM in Chennai and highly regarded and respected. How did CAM let go of her ? Am sure JSA/Khaitan will be waiting to rope her in !
