HSA Advocates added former Apollo Tyres global chief legal counsel Atulya Sharma as a banking and finance partner, in Delhi.

Sharma is a 1993 alumnus of CLC Delhi and has had both in house stints at the international finance corporation, the IDFC Group – where he was general counsel, and Deutsche Bank, as well as law firm experience as senior partner with Dua Associates.

HSA intends to use Sharma’s experience of 23 years in the banking, finance, projects and corporate legal practices to also boost its corporate and projects practices, the firm said in a press release.

HSA founding partner Hemant Sahai commented in the release: “On behalf of HSA’s partnership, I take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to Atulya and sincerely hope that together we can make things happen. I look forward to his contributions in further strengthening our Banking and Finance, Corporate and Projects practice.”

HSA now has nine banking and finance partners, including Sharma, the firm said.
