Dua Associates Mumbai partner Vinod Joseph has joined Bennett, Coleman & Co division Brand Capital as head legal, leaving Dua’s Mumbai office with only two partners.

Joseph, who joined the Times Group-owned Brand Capital which funds growth-oriented enterprises, according to his Linkedin profile, has left the firm with his team of two, according to Bar & Bench, leaving only two partners behind in Dua’s Mumbai office - Anil Agarwal and Anish Ghoshal.

Brand Capital is responsible for the media conglomerate’s investments as well as so-called “private treaties”, which offers companies free marketing in exchange for shares.

He graduated from NLSIU Bangalore in 1998, obtained an LLM from LSE London in 2003 and has had stints with AZB & Partners, BNP Paribas and DSP Merill Lynch.
