Aninda Pal, who had joined Juris Corp in November 2015, has left and will join HSA Advocates.

Pal, who had been a counsel at Trilegal before moving to Juris Corp, will be joining HSA as a partner focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, private equity, venture capital and general corporate, according to a source with knowledge of the move.

We have reached out for comment to HSA, which has recently seen Khaitan & Co’s Amitabh Sharma take over the managing partner role from founder Hemant Sahai.

Juris Corp, which sent out a press release about Pal leaving, included a quote from the firm’s co-founder H Jayesh: “We wish Aninda Pal well in his new role.”

Pal commented in the release: “It has been a short, though enriching, stint at Juris Corp and have decided to move on for other opportunities. Juris Corp consists of strong and talented professionals and I wish the firm all the best in its strategic growth initiatives.”
