Legal Matrix, a Hyderabad-based start-up law firm set up in 2011 by Aruna Kumari after leaving Fox Mandal Little, as it was then called, has merged into Kochhar & Co’s Hyderabad office with five lawyers.

According to a press release from Kochhar, Kumari has 15 years of experience and specialises in real estate, litigation, corporate and commercial laws, intellectual property (IP) and labour.

Rohit Kochhar, the firm’s founding partner, claimed that with Legal Matrix, Kochhar & Co, which is headed in Hyderabad by resident partner VVSN Raju, was now “one of the largest full service law firms in Andhra Pradesh”.

The firm’s Hyderabad office now has 17 lawyers, said a Kochhar spokesperson.
