Samvad Partners has promoted senior associate Natasha Mahajan to partner in Bangalore.

Mahajan focusses on banking and finance, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, general commercial contracts and the corporate advisory practice.

The NLSIU 2005 alumnus began her career in house, at ICICI Bank, obtained an LLM from LSE in 2008 and joined Bharucha & Partners. In 2014 she practiced independently for a few months and in October joined Samvad.

Samvad now has 11 partners, after the recent lateral move of Tatva Legal’s Ekta Bahl to the firm.

She is one of the many talented former senior associates of Bharucha & Partners who left B&P. No other firm has seen a higher percentage of exodus at a mid-senior level as B&P. Around 22 exits in last 4 years. Wonder why people do not stay with B&P for long.
