Schneider Electric group general counsel Suprio Dasgupta joined Dr Reddy’s laboratories as its general counsel.

The NLSIU Bangalore 1994 LLM alum began his career as protection officer at the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in 1994, taught at NLSIU Bangalore and at Delhi University from 1995 to 1997 and went in house with General Electric as its director for intellectual property.

This was followed by stints in house with Honeywell International and International Paper before joining Schneider Electric.

Dasgupta confirmed the move but declined to comment further when contacted.
