Argus Partners has hired independent litigator Maneesha Kongovi as a partner in Bangalore with her team.

She is joined by her team, which includes Shivabhushan S Hatti, Anusha Chatra and Yamini Harish.

She is a 2007 NUJS Kolkata graduate, who had begun her career with Amarchand Mangaldas’ litigation team in Mumbai and in 2008 moved to what-was-then Bharucha & Partners.

In 2009, she returned to her hometown Bangalore and joined the practice of advocate Aditya Sondhi.

She went independent in November 2014, specialising in work in the Supreme Court, high court, civil court, NCLT and arbitration tribunals.

Managing partner Krishnava Dutt commented in a press release: “Her joining will immensely benefit the Bangalore office where we represent several of our institutional clients in various fora including the High Court, Civil Court and NCLT.”
