AZB & Partners will promote to partner two senior associates: Nanditha Gopal in Bangalore and Percis Anklesaria in Pune.

Gopal graduated in 2006 from Nalsar Hyderabad and has been working at AZB since then.

Anklesaria heads the firm’s Pune office of 15 lawyers and had joined AZB in 2007, and after qualifying as a lawyer in 1999, had worked at the Chambers of Zia Mody for two years.

Before joining AZB, she had one-year stints at ALMT Legal and J Sagar Associates (JSA).

Anklesaria graduated from ILS Law College and Symbiosis Law School and holds a 2003-LLM from Columbia Law School in New York.

AZB Mumbai managing partner Zia Mody confirmed the promotions and commented that she was delighted with them. “Both of them have been with AZB for the longest time,” she added.
