With the supreme leader of the team being who he is, everyone will be made partner. Bas time katon and tick the bare minimum boxes. Partner zaroor banoge (notwithstanding whether you are ex inhouse or from jhumritalaiyya). Partner bano and execute the work sourced by the supreme leader. Life sahi hain, tension nahi hain. #Enjoy!

Also, congrats Punita. Well done. :)

And how much will you make when you make a partner?

First tell us whether you are ticking the mandatory boxes? Aap chronology samajhiye.

In any event, if you are in the team and you make partner, bohut paisa milega cause supreme leader has good billing and recovery. Hope you are not looking for exact salary figures here. Jao homework karo.

Is there politics in Gautam Saha's team?

To be fair, not much. Most are harmless, except one who makes up for the rest. To put it simply, [...] is a seasoned “politician”. Lol.

P.s.: Kian, pls publish.

Thanks

Punita has put in some great amount of hard work over the years to reach where she is today.

Kudos to her!

As far as some readers comment regarding just execution is concerned, please check how many junior partners do their own billing and how many just execute, across tier 1 firms and then comment. Any which way you can't take away from the fact that she has reached here purely on her own merit, from start to finish.

Ofcourse Gautam is a fantastic team leader is what I understand.

At what stage are people in a law firm expected to get clients? Is it possible for an Associate to climb up the ladders (SA, MA, Partner) quicker because he/she can get business? Any instances where it has happened?

If you research carefully, you will find that there was once a law student who became a partner straight out of law school since he could get clients.
