Breaking: CAM Delhi partner Nivedita Tiwari resigns

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi private equity and M&A partner Nivedita Tiwari has resigned today.

She had joined in 2015 from Platinum Partners, after a short stint at MNK Law Offices from Luthra & Luthra.

Managing partner Cyril Shroff confirmed her leaving, and commented that she was “going with our blessings”.

We understand that her next move is not yet finalised.

We have reached out to her for comment.

Both Shishir and Nivedita were ex Luthra and of the same batch. It was but natural for NT to resign when CAM failed to reward her hard work.

Not sure if it’s about equity - no one in Delhi has got equity. There are people senor to Tiwari not even them. Promotions were only for Bangalore and Mumbai.

While CAM has good lawyers, her departure will definitely be a loss for CAM. Its sad to see that the management does not have strong retention tools to keep people from moving. So many have left in the last few years.
