Bonus has already been paid (Duwali)...next tranche due on 31 March. Surely you dont know Manishi... many of you may have interned with partners who were interns under Manishi at somepoint in time. Only fools would ask Manishi to leave.

Is 30%. What’s left on the table is potentially 70%, though maybe not for him. Even potentially.

Money is not everything bro. To some self respect is bigger than any amount of money.... Only dilliwalas know this... Not mumbai businessmen. Dont measure everything in terms of money and bonuses. Manishi is a fime gentleman....

Many who are self respecting, know their potential, were or are self generating revenue streams will leave, irrespective of what they got or leave behind.

Manishi is a very good lawyer and he has definitely not been asked to leave. He has a good practice and a good book. He would be an asset to any firm. CSS is too astute to fire a good lawyer with a good book.

.. aka AA comes and people leave. If this guy is such a gentleman, the CSS, why are you not retaining him? On a separate note, I fail to understand what does an employment specialist in a law firm in India advise on??? Some two or three sections of the IDA? The country doesn't have proper employment law and all that needs to be advised on are purely contractual matters!!! Perhaps, there should a specialist practice in India called- "Employment Law: AKA Contractual issues in an employment agreement"
Hmm 29 Dec 2018, 05:50
+2 -3
True. But the foreign companies without a proper in-house lawyer don't know that. They think employment law actually matters. Lol. So the employment experts make hourly moolah.

CAM is sinking and that is the fact. Other Delhi partners are about to exit soon...most probabily in first week of January...
