Atlas Law Partners has promoted associate partner Medha Srivastava to partner, and several associates into more senior associate rungs.

Srivastava is a 2007 NUJS Kolkata graduate who specialises in banking finance, corporate and M&A. She had joined Atlas in 2017, moving from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas where co-founding partners Harry Chawla and Niti Paul were both working before starting Atlas.

The firm has also promoted a three associates:

  • Varun Vaish to managing associate from senior associate (real estate, private equity, M&A and banking & finance; Nalsar Hyderabad 2013; Oxford University Masters in Law, 2018);
  • Akshit Kapoor to managing associate from senior associate (general corporate banking & finance and private client practice & family office; Bharti Vidhiyapeeth University, Pune, 2011);
  • Astha Nigam to senior associate from associate (dispute resolution, commercial litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy; ICFAI University, Faculty of Law, Dehradun 2014).

Great. Kian, does the designation Partner means equity partner in Atlas? Otherwise , what is the difference between an associate partner designation and partner designation? On the other hand if it means equity partnership , kudos to Harry for sharing profits of his firm.
