Cyril Amarchand hires 2nd IDFC Alt in-houser, HNLU ‘08 grad Vedant Shukla, as funds partner

IDFC Alternatives vice president legal Vedant Shukla, has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai as a partner.

His move comes two years after IDFC Alternatives general counsel (GC) Shagoofa Rashid Khan had joined CAM’s funds practice in Mumbai.

Managing partner Cyril Shroff confirmed his joining and said: “He will be a valuable addition to our funds team, working with Shagoofa Khan.”

Shukla is a 2008 HNLU Raipur graduate, who is also a qualified company secretary.

He had started his career with Nishith Desai Associates in 2008, joined the Future Group in-house in 2010, moved to Desai & Diwanji for a year in 2011, before settling down at IDFC Alternatives from 2012 until now.
