DMD promotes 6 lawyers to more-senior associate levels

DMD Advocates has promoted six of its lawyers to more senior levels, according to its press release.

Suman Yadav has been promoted to principal associate in Delhi’s litigation and arbitration team.

New senior associates are:

  • Aditya Sarin (Delhi),
  • Nikhita Suri (Delhi),
  • Divay Rastogi (Delhi, corporate and tax)
  • Siddharth Joshi (Delhi, corporate and tax), and

Adhiraj Malhotra (Mumbai, litigation).

DMD Advocates has 12 partners, including 4 senior partners, and a total of 70 fee earners.

All these large so called Tier 1 firm associates have no other job than to think that only they do legal work in this country. They seriously need to appreciate and acknowledge the fact that there are other MUCH smarter firms and lawyers outside their floors and cubicles.

Absolutely. Maybe you have DMD to thank for settling the biggest tax dispute in the country - but will your arrogance of your corner cubicle (which is not even a room even if you are a partner) let you do that?

At least the title of the article could have been vetted, either by the firm (DMD) or legally india - "to more senior associate levels", seriously whatever that means.

As a policy, there's no 'vetting' of LI articles by firms before publication, but have amended the title to 'more-senior associate levels' to clarify the meaning of the headline...
