Trilegal Mumbai finance partner Srinivas Parthasarathy has left the firm, reported Bar & Bench, with him apparently “taking a break from law practice”.

We understand that he had been on sabbatical from the firm since May.

According to Trilegal’s profile, he had worked on “transactional assignments in India in banking, structured finance, M&A, capital markets, private equity and securities laws”.

We have reached out to him for comment.

Parthasarathy had joined Trilegal in 2009 in Mumbai from Allen & Overy Singapore.

He is dual-qualified in India and England, after having graduated in 1995 from NLSIU Bangalore. He had moved to Allen & Overy in 2007 from J Sagar Associates (JSA), where he had worked since 2002.

He began his career at ICICI Securities for two years until 1997, moved to boutique firm Lex Inde until 1999, and then joined LexSite.com until 2001 as head of content and services.
