HSA adds another partner with Khaitan Legal, ex Essel legal head Sharmil Bhushan

HSA Advocates has hired Khaitan Legal Associates partner Sharmil Bhushan as a partner in its Mumbai office.

She specialises in banking and finance, as well as structuring and funds formation work.

She was formerly, between 2012 and 2018, head of legal and compliance at Essel Finance in Mumbai before joining Khaitan Legal Associates in June 2018.

The 2006 GLC Mumbai graduate had begun her career at Thakker & Thakker, moving to Economic Laws Practice (ELP) in 2010.

Correction: Bhushan is a 2006 graduate, not 2003 as originally stated.

Brilliant hire. Something hsa were looking for and have finally got it !. Hsa is doing some tremendous work from Mumbai and firm is on fast paced growth trajectory. Well done hsa.

every firm has an attrition rate. For ex. Vertices and CAM also have high attrition rates. Even then they have good quality lawyers. Pls appreciate when it is due and earned.
