Deepak Kumar Thakur has joined L&L Partners in Mumbai as a partner in its projects practice from HSA Advocates, where he was also a partner.

Luthra’s projects practice is headed by Delhi-based partner Sameen Vyas.

Thakur is a 2007 Army Institute of Law Mohali graduate with a 2015 LLM in banking, corporate finance and securities law from the University of Mumbai.

He had briefly worked at Titus & Co before joining J Sagar Associates (JSA) in 2008 for seven years.

In 2015, he had joined HSA in Mumbai, getting promoted to non-equity partner in 2017.

He has joined L&L from 1 April this year.

HSA founding partner Hemant Sahai commented: “Deepak has all my best wishes and I am sure he will prove to be a great ambassador for HSA in all his future endeavours.”

From JSA to HSA was certainly a great move. Kudos for any one entertaining the very idea. Then leaving HSA within 2 years is also a great move, that too to LnL under Sameen Vyas.

You seem to be a troll of no effect, as all assertions made here, are incorrect. He left HSA after 4 years and not 2. Also, he had set-up Projects Practice in L&L Mumbai and not joined anybody's team.

Used to be the back-up goalkeeper on the football team at AIL and he would literally die before he conceded a goal. Diligence, hard work and perseverance are all him.

One more wicket down. H*ma*t drink a 'knock out' and get knocked out. Time to sell expensive cars.
