Samvad Partners has hired ex J Sagar Associates (JSA) Mumbai partner Srabonee Roy as a partner in its Mumbai office.
The 2005 Symbiosis Pune graduate specialises in cross-border M&A, joint ventures and general corporate work.
She had begun her career at Gagrat & Co in Delhi in 2005 and joined N South (or NDLO South as it was then known) in Gurgaon in 2007. She moved to Mumbai and I&S Associates in 2008 for nearly three years, before joining Desai & Diwanji for seven months in Mumbai.
In 2012 she joined JSA, where she made partner in 2016.
Update 19:35: She had left JSA on 30 April 2018.
Partner Vineetha MG commented in a press release: “She will add depth and further strengthen our team having worked for a wide range of clients both on the domestic and international front”.
Roy added that she was “extremely excited to start the next phase of [her] professional journey”.
