Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) Delhi-based principal associate Darshika Singh has joined Link Legal India Law Services as an associate partner.

She is a 2007 NLIU Bhopal graduate, with a 2009 LLM from Cambridge University.

She had joined Khaitan & Co in 2009, spent under a year as a legal consultant with the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in Delhi in 2012, and then joined Amarchand, as it then was, in 2013.

We have reached out to SAM, Link Legal and Singh for comment.

Update: SAM commented: “Darshika left the Firm a few months ago for personal reasons. We wish her well in her new role.”

It's not about law schools. It's about an individuals accomplishment. Stop making it about law schools. Did her law school support her when she was trying to get a position?

Well it did help her become what she is today, unlike few others who just got lucky because of a merger or past connections or desperate requirements. LLM and SAM being no less achievements built on the foundation of her law school.

In other news, did she refund her increment?

Luthra, ARA, etc which sunk from their highs due to self pompous and discriminatory attitude of NLUJ kids. All such firms mass recruited from NLUJ during their highs and sunk.
