Trilegal and JSA seems to be the plan for 5 years after this stint. Then write a book on these firms and sell rights to LI.

You must be someone who’s perhaps still sitting in one firm for the last 15 years and have now either forgotten how to hunt in the wild or are too scared to ever do it yourself. Perhaps you love being fed by the equity partners and dream of having independence but too scared to venture out on your own. I’m one of Harsh’s clients and totally vouch for him. Does it matter who he works for or where at? The quality of work is hard to find amongst the thousands of partners in this country. He’s also a great guy! So get on with your lives is what I’d advise!

Proud moment for WBNUJS. Three partners (3, 5 and 6) are from 2005 batch of WBNUJS. 6 is also a former WBNUJS teacher.

Does it matter that hes from NUJS? Or that other partners are?

There are a zillion partners from CLC, doesnt prove a thing.

Not only is Harsh really sharp, but (and perhaps more importantly) he is a great guy as well. He was my senior at college and then at a firm. There is no need to comment on how many firms he has been at. Some times it is a completely rational move - maybe P&A was offering him more independence, even if not more money (not saying that he is getting lesser, I don't know). Or maybe, he is friends with the partnership at P&A and actually thinks he will be able to collaborate better.

God knows what are the reasons. What I do know is that it does not mean anything if you spend 15 years at only one firm - you do it because you are comfortable where you are. And maybe because you don't like change. There is no need to judge who do - but who cares even if you do. Remember: past performance is no indication of future returns (Read your investment document disclaimers carefully). So you may work for 15 years and then quit, and in a week's time you will be as good to the firm you left as any other alumni. Perhaps worse. So, peace.
