Wadia Ghandy in three-partner promotion bonanza

Wadia Ghandy & Co has promoted corporate senior associates Xerxes Antia, Shabnum Kajiji and Fariyal Tahseen to its partnership.

All three studied at Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai and will become partners in Mumbai with effect from 1 April 2010.

Antia practices general corporate law, financing and private equity and has been with the firm since 2004, prior to which he worked with CZB & Partners between 2002 and 2003, and Little & Co between 1997 and 2001.

Kajiji specialises in financing and securitisation and has been a senior associate at Wadia Ghandy since 2006, having graduated from GLC in 2001.

Tahseen’s practice focuses on private equity.

Antia, Kajiji and Tahseen declined to comment or were unavailable for comment.

The firm declined to comment on the promotions.

Wadia Ghandy currently has around 18 partners and approximately 90 associates.

The firm opened an office in Chennai in the summer of 2009.

Fariyal was a national level high jumper. She seems to be coming on by leaps and bounds.
