I can't believe a BCI mandarin would use 'pushed' in place of 'postponed'. Sounds more like lawschool-speak to me.

Finally, its time to show BCI the skills of advocates who have enrolled themselves this year. I am already drafting a petition, and will finalize it as soon as official news is out. Let's file petitions against BCI, and every advocate should file it to prove how skilled and legally competent we are, unlike legally unsound ppl like [...]...TIme for mass litigations, and ya, I am filing a separate suit against RM as well, questioning as to why did it combine with BCI in an illegal manner. Lets make sure the exam is held void by courts and criminal proceedings begin against RM for cheating, fraud etc.

Please display my comments on the site so that other students also will know how BCI is playing with young lawyers career, once state bar councils accepted our degree and enrolled us as advocate. the bci should atleast clarify now atleast for the sake of those who want to take the exam and for that would like to study. should they study or not.

I appeal to Chief Justice of India to look into the matter of writ petitions challenging, Bar Exam, on prority basis as not doing so will lead to aggravation of sufferings of fresh law graduates who are finding it hard to meet the day to day requirements. Bar Council is hell bent to cause harassment to fresh graduates. if bar council was not sure about the standard of education in law institutions/colleges then why did it recognize them? counducting bar exam is like cashing in on one's own failures.
Chief Justice should look into matter on urgent basis because delayed justice is justice denied.

I think along with chief justice of India we all should also write to law Minister of India along with Smt. Sonia Gandhi to step in to rescue fresh law graduates from this injustice caused to them by Bar Council of India.
It is being alleged that Sh Gopal Subramanium is choise of Law Minister of India. So he should make Gopal understand the dilema of fresh law graduates.

its very much clear that they r nt goin to take examination on 5th dec... i firmly believe that if they do not decide anything on 25th den all of us should start appearing before courts on monday onwards as it has been mentiond in press release too.... i think meeting to authorities wont bring any conclusion or wont amount to any immediate action... the best way to protest is to appear before the court.... involve as many law graduates as we can... spread the initiatives which we r goin to take and most imp..involve d media...local n national too.... let me knw what u guys r planning to do...thanks...

people r already appearing in courts and there r some who had been appearing from the day 1...now i find myself to be a folld not appearing solong..... i feel like a fool having taken to aibe studies so seriously and now BCI decides not to take exams having realised their own unorganised status so late. instead of concentrating on conducting the aibe exam, BCI went on to concentrate on those students who did not enroll for the exam. they foolishly decided to extend the exam date thereby went on to make a complete mockery of the so called aibe.

now i am helpless at the hands of BCI. having applied for this aibe:

1) i cannot suspend my sanad which otherwise i could if i got offer in any other fraternity as i have a valid 2 decades exp in other field.

2) if i decide to work for a senior, they refuse to entertain me as they find me useless if i cannot appear in the court.

a humble request to BCI...........please do not play with the career of our country's professional adults. you are in fact misusing your powers by hijacking our batch of 2009-10 graduates for whatever best reasons you alone know.

when airplane (say 500 people), bus (say 60 people) , cruise (pirates takes over) gets hijacked it becomes a BIG news in all every newspapers and every effort is made to release them. here 80,000 law graduates are openly hijacked at the hands of the unorganised BCI and we don't see it as news :sad:(

HOW COME EVERY LAWYER FILE A CASE AGAISNT BCI PROTESTING AGAINST BCI & RAINMAKER FOR THE CONFUSION THEY ARE CREATING. THIS WILL REVOLUTINIZE THINGS AND BCI WILL CANCEL THE EXAM.

#21 How can BCI conduct exams, it is totally illegal and inconsistent with the Advoctes Act 1961.They very well know that any body can challenge it.

SURAT: About 150 budding lawyers have submitted a memorandum to the Bar Council of India (BCI) to postpone the first all-India bar examination until next year and allow LLB pass outs to start their legal practice in their respective courts on Wednesday.

This exam is against the law and also against the laws of natural justice as the same is being conducted in retrospective effect.The decision of a student to opt law as a profession may vary on the ground that he /she will have to undergo another exam after passing out his law from the respective college.Imposing an exam upon the students who are in the mid of their studies is not justified on any grounds.The exams should be called off immediately.

The examination should be called off as students were unaware of it when they joined the Law Course.

BCI has official reply on asking question on bar exam that they will issue press release on 25 nov. Where It is ? Has Any One that press release ??
