Delhi senior lawyer arrested for alleged rape of fellow lawyer in court complex

Delhi advocate PK Lal, aged 50, was arrested for the alleged rape of a woman lawyer, aged 32, in his Saket court chamber yesterday, reported Live Law.

The Saket Bar Association has suspended Lal’s bar membership. Lal was in an inebriated condition when he called the victim to his chamber before the alleged incident, according to the Delhi police’ statement to PTI.

For the first time I am proud of lawyers. Lawyers beat up rapists in Chennai Court. More power to them.
