NLU Jodhpur’s 87 graduates this year found 48 jobs, 21 of which were through campus with 12 placements in the Big Six which had closed recruitments from the batch in its Day Zero last year. The majority of those placed found law firm roles.
One graduate is pursuing an LLM from a national law university, while 11 are practicing in various high courts and the Supreme Court.
NLU Jodhpur’s RCC was only able to confirm approximate figures and said that around 50 students sat for recruitments in the class of 2014.
Legally India has already reported that CNLU Patna placed 17 out of 63 2014 graduates, AIL Mohali placed 35 out of 80 2014 graduates and RGNUL placed six out of 70 2014 graduates.
Big Six law firm jobs made up 16 out of 45 jobs bagged by NLU Delhi 2014 graduates, 25 out of 42 jobs bagged by NLSIU2014 graduates, 25 out of 72 jobs bagged by NUJS 2014 graduates, and 26 out of 71 jobs bagged by Nalsar 2014 graduates.
None of the Big Six visited HNLU’s campus where 29 out of 81 graduates secured jobs, while RMLNLU set a new institutional record with 45 jobs for its 150 graduates this year, and NUALS placed one-third of its 2014 graduates.

[b]FYI[/b], a lot of jobs that are beyond your reach or mine are available to people with [i]jugaad[/i] - the placement cell will, of course, take credit for those jobs as well.
NLU students can opt to graduate with a specialisation in trade law, which also opens a few doors. Of course, you may argue against the word "specialisation", so read it is a "few optional papers" if you like :) That, coupled with publications and trade law related internships (like at UNCTAD, WTO, etc.) helps.
@Kian: Can you please clarify this issue.
Congrats to all students at NLIU and NLU from my side. For those who feel that they missed out on Big 6, do not fret - you can easily be at a Big 6 firm after a couple of years of experience. Big 6 jobs are tough to bag as a fresher, but much easier to get as a lateral.

To emphasise the fact of 'quality', we know very well the quality at NLU-J, the quality of NLIU is far better than NLU-J, but it's pity to see that some are so concerned that they are not ready to accept the problem.
And as far as the problem for 'comparsion' is concerned, if you really had any problem, then you shouldn't have replied to my comment .
And every year this shit happens, by asserting the fact that a University is better than others, does not make it true, for everyone knows where their respective Universities stand.
