NUJS Kolkata just about matched Nalsar Hyderabad’s Big Six hire score of 26, with 25 of the law school’s graduates this year bagging Big Six law firm gigs on the back of 10 pre placement offers (PPO).
NUJS placed 72 of its 115 graduates with law firms, corporate, legal process outsourcing (LPO) and other organisations after 79 participated in campus recruitment this year.
The 2014 batch bagged 21 of the 25 jobs with Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners, J Sagar Associates (JSA), Luthra & Luthra, Khaitan & Co and Trilegal – dubbed India’s Big Six – in its Day Zero in 2013.
70 graduates of the law school’s 2013 batch were accounted for including eight judicial clerkships and 15 LLM admissions. Two students secured judicial clerkships this year, and “9-10” are “pursuing higher studies”, according to the 2014 RCC.

Amarchand Mangaldas, with eight recruits, led 23 law firms that hired students from this year’s batch. Luthra & Luthra followed with six recruits. 14 graduates secured jobs through PPOs.

LPO and others
Pangea3 was the only LPO hiring from campus at NUJS this year. It hired five graduates. Six other graduates found jobs with two NGOs, CLAT coaching centre Achiever’s Guild, PRS Legislative and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Theoretically since Nujs has around 120 students per batch, isn't the NUJS RCC under more pressure to perform and show success than lets say batches with 80 or so.

Really? Pass outs from one of the best law schools opting for an LPO? You spent 5 rigorous years at NUJS for an LPO job?
And 5 is a huge number
Dont put lawyer's collective, prs and TRAI alongwith LPOs!
