I understand that the new rules are a great inconvenience, but why lash out against the entire lawyer community in this fashion? Lawyers don't have the power to make rules like these. This article only reiterates the reason for which these rules were made- "people write whatever they want."

I know these rules are not only ridiculous but also unfair, but this sort of "lawyer bashing" will not do anybody any good. Please fight these rules in court. The media plays an important role in a democracy and this has been recognised by the Supreme Court. The question which needs to be answered now is whether or not the media will take this issue up in a responsible manner or will it continue to indulge in random banter.
