Advaita wins coal block bidding stay for Adhunik group

Advaita Legal obtained a stay from the Delhi high court on financial bidding for the Chitarpur coal block in Bihar, on the writ of the Adhunik Group’s Kolkata Glass and Ceramics.

Advaita managing partner and national head Sujit Ghosh, managing associate Shailendra Singh and associates Krishna Rao, Amrita Roychoudhury, Rajat Mittal and Sonali Singh briefed senior advocate P Chidambaram and retired justice Ajit Kumar Sinha for Kolkata Glass.

Additional solicitor general Sanjay Jain acted for the ministry of coal.

Hindalco, Vedanta, Jindal Steel & Power, Steel Authority of India and JSW Steel were eyeing the coal block whose bidding was postponed indefinitely from its original schedule of Wednesday, reported the Economic Times.

Why do you report only the Law-Firm Litigations, as if Litigators or Litigation Firms do not take part in any high stake matters.

For all that you know, Litigating Lawyers are involved in lot many high stake litigation matters compared to law firm.
