[[NLSIU Bangalore]] bettered [[Nalsar Hyderabad]] in the finals of the [[ISRO National Funding Round to Manfred Lachs Space Moot|ISRO funding round to the Manfred Lachs Space Law moot]].

[[Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur]] and [[RMLNLU Lucknow]] finished semifinalists in the moot. Roly from RMLNLU Lucknow also won the best speaker award.

The NLSIU team consisted of speakers Prem Ayyadurai and Viraj Parikh along with researcher Vinodini Srinivasan. Parikh said that the moot was exhausting.

“It was good preparation for the Asia Pacific rounds which are scheduled to take place in June. The judges during the moot were really good. Most of them had done Lachs earlier or were really good in international law.”

Parikh said that the competition during the moot was good. “The other teams were quite good. They had good memos. Indian teams do have a really good chance in the Asia Pacific rounds.” He noted that after a break the team would start preparing for the Asia Pacific rounds soon.

“They got good judges for the moot. It is very hard to get good judges these days.”

Raag Yadava from the NLSIU moot court society confirmed the results and said that 16 teams participated in the moot. There was no award for the best memorandum.

Note: We are still awaiting the full results of the Vis Vienna moot. The full Jessup moot results are now available on the ILSA homepage and we will update soon. The [[MPL 3 Season Standings]] will be updated after the official results are announced by the organisers.

Given that you come up with the same trash every year, why don't you agitate to have ISRO take the funding rounds away from NLS?

Because, in that case, it would not be possible for NLS to get favourable advantage, which they would not obviously consider to be good.

asia-pacific rounds are slated to take place in nalsar this time..

so, having a funding round seems preposterous and pointless..
moreover, i wonder what makes nls win the funding rounds all the time. they won the isro funding rounds last year and did not progress did not progress into the quarters at the asia-pacific rounds. my information that the last years's funding rounds were rigged is thus attested.

this time, they won the moot again. is it rigged again.?

If you knew even a bit about the competition, you would know that the registration is around 30-40k. Not every university can foot that.

1. The rounds help to give teams practice before the Asia-Pacific Rounds. So they're not entirely pointless.

2. So we now selectively choose years in which NLS did badly to prove our point about rigging, do we? Just for the purposes of the full picture:

a. 2009: NLS wins funding round. NLS wins Asia-Pacific. NLS wins International.

b. 2010: NLS loses funding round (See, no rigging). NLS reaches final of Asia-Pacific. Couldn't have been half-bad no?

Using 2011 as a stray example to prove a random point just shows how retarded people on this forum can be. Can't we just let a moot win be a moot win (whether it be NLS, NALSAR, Seedling, RMLNLU!) without random allegations being thrown left, right and centre?

We would like to clarify RMLNLU was neither a finalist or a semi - finalist at the Moot this year. GLC, Bombay and NLU, Jodhpur were finalists whereas RGNUL, Patiala and Campus Law Centre, delhi were semi - finalists.

Yes, let us now listen to Amity Law School instead of NLSIU Moot Court Committee and Legally India. You just proved true allegiance to Amity there!
Kian, the speaker's name is Roli Sharma. Please make the corrections. Great going RMLNLU!

And you just proved your stupidity here... The post from Amity is in response to a comment about the Amity Moot and you want LI to listen to what the NLSIU MCS has to say (if at all) about the results of the Amity moot?

Seedling School of Law? Really? Do they grow plants there as a part of the curriculum? BCI should cancel their registration just for how bad their name is!

Before saying anything, you should have thought of the background of the institution. The Institute is headed by Professor V S Mani, whom even your grand dad cant match, leave your grand dad, you, your mom and your dad taken together cannot equal his feet..and the students from Hindi Rajasthani medium schools are trying to come at par with other english speaking students from premier law schools..now shut up, and try respecting people for their hard work, you M-FUCKER....
