NLU Delhi has won the prestigious Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot.

NLU Delhi has won the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot, according to the moot’s official twitter feed.

The team consisting of Linesh Lalwani, Somil Kumar and Arshu John won the funding round to the moot in April, and has now gone on to win the final held in Ontario, at 3pm Canadian time.

The finals were adjudicated by International Court of Justice judges Skotnikov, Xue, and Donoghue.

NLSIU Bangalore won the Lachs moot two years ago, for the second time in only three years.

NLS did not win Lachs last year. They lost to NLUD in the Asia-Pacifics.

astonishing performance! congratulations! at the same time, i feel the shine has gone off a bit from mooting lately. it does not generate as much excitement as it used to in the mid to late 2000s or even early 2010s. it could be a sign of maturity among the indian law student community.

The headline for this is ridiculous. I remember when NLS won the moot, the headlines went like NLS wins the World Cup of Mooting. "rocks" really?
