Several 2014 Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT) candidates have reported that the CLAT help desk has told them that the results, which were withdrawn after they were riddled with errors after their first release on 30 May, would be available tomorrow at 5pm.

Two candidates shared the following emails on Facebook.

We expect to release the results by 1700 hours on Friday, 6 June 2014. The exact timing of declaration will be displayed on the CLAT website.

We will upload your personal OMR and the model answer key of your booklet series. You may please check and if you still have any doubt, you can visit the GNLU Secretariat after the announcement of results till 10th June, 2014 (1700 Hrs).

And:

Dear Candidate, We are carrying out the physical verification of OMR Answer Sheets (reconciliation of the bar code sticker and the candidate sticker) of each of the examinee manually.

We expect to release the results by 1700 hours on Friday, 6 June 2014. The exact timing of declaration will be displayed on the CLAT website. A complete-merit list (name, roll number, score, rank, birth date, gender, category, domicile) of all candidates along with category-wise merit list, your personal OMR Answer Sheet and all the four sets of model answer keys will be made accessible in your LOGIN ACCOUNT with the CLAT.

You can visit the CLAT Secretariat for physical verification, if interested, after the announcement of results till 10th June, 2014 (1700 Hrs). CLAT Office will be open on Saturday and Sunday as well between 1000 Hrs and 1700 Hrs. Kindly intimate about your visit for physical verification along with Roll Number, 24 hours in advance.

The Times of India had reported a CLAT core committee source saying yesterday that publication of final corrected results could still take another week, after scores of candidates found that they had scored significantly lower than expected in the competitive entrance exam.

This year’s convenor, GNLU Gandhinagar had released a statement on Monday that the error was caused by “mismatching” bar codes that were attached to the answer sheets, and that all 33,000-odd answer sheets would be checked manually.
