Planned: NLU aspirants to sit CLAT 2015 online via computer

The next Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT) in 2015 is likely to be sat by candidates online, according to a number of reports.

A newspaper report shared by CLAT mentor Rajneesh Singh in Hindi [bottom right of page] stated that the CLAT would be conducted online entirely and that candidates would be counselled a day before the exam. A service provider would also train candidates in using the computer systems and sitting the exam online.

Dr Gurdip Singh, who is vice chancellor of RMLNLU Lucknow, which will be conducting next CLAT also told legal website Bar & Bench that he was looking at allowing for online payment of the fees: “I plan for even the test will be taken online, that is my perception and I am going to push for making the whole process 100% online. There should not be any possibility of any leakages.”

but no assurance of process being smoothly completed? how can we even be sure this is going to work without any technical goof up or any other goof up like any other year, or even worse than previous year.

The CLAT papers, in the second edition of CLAT, were leaked where? Remember?

finally we some innovation from CLAT, hope they would find the successful model and stick with it

innovation cant prevent leakage ! the crudest clat without leakage is better than the most sophisticated clat with leakage !

clat fellows have to focus on fool proofing the paper setting, not online, offline and so on.....
