IC Legal, CAM help Puranik raise $46m from KKR

IC Legal advised the Puranik Group on raising Rs 300 crore ($46m) from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts which was advised by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

IC Legal partner Sambhav Ranka and senior associate Souvik Roy acted for Puranik.

CAM Mumbai partner Pranav Sharma acted for KKR

KKR, through this investment into Puranik’s housing projects in Pune, is making a first stride into Pune’s real estate market and as per the financing terms, the NBFC through which KKR has infused the funds in Puranik – KKR India Assets Finance – will remain invested in the projects until their completion over the next six years, reported the Economic Times.
