Indus, CAM, Tatva act on $25m IFMR infusion

IndusLaw advised IFMR Holdings on its $25m (Rs 162.5 crore) fundraising from Accion Africa-Asia Investment Company which was advised by Tatva Legal, Leapfrog Financial Inclusion India (II) which was advised by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and impact investment fund Lok Capital which was advised in house.

Indus Mumbai partner Priyanka Roy and associate Mini Kapoor acted for IFMR.

CAM partner Akshay Bhat acted for Leapfrog.

Tatva partner Anu Iyer acted for Accion.

Accion’s share in the infusion was 50 per cent and existing IFMR investors Leapfrog and Lok Capital respectively added Rs 58.5 crore ($9m) and Rs 22.7 crore ($3.5m), reported VC Circle.
