IndusLaw advised Snapdeal again on its largest round of investment to date with 12 other law firm teams.

IndusLaw advised long-standing client Snapdeal again on its largest round of investment to date, by Japanese telecom and Internet firm SoftBank Corp for $627m. Softbank was advised by Kochhar & Co and Morrison & Foerster.

Indus partner Srinivas Katta, senior associate Winnie Shekhar and associates Piyush Bhawalpuria and Priyanka Chandrasekhar acted for Snapdeal.

Kochhar partners Anjuli Sivaramakrishnan and Chandrasekhar Tampi with senior associate Priti Bansal led from India for SoftBank, with Morrison & Foerster Tokyo managing partner Ken Siegel, with global corporate co-chair Brandon Parris, Tokyo partner Ivan Smallwood, Denver of counsel Erik Knudsen, Denver associate Tyler Sewell and Hong Kong associate Noah Carr.

Tokyo partners Noah Carr and Matthew O’Donnell. SoftBank became the largest investor in Snapdeal with this deal, according to Mint.

Indus had also advised Snapdeal on its $100m fundraising Myriad, Blackrock, Premji and a number of other investors.

DSK Legal previously advised Softbank on its $200m investment in InMobi.
