AZB acts on Manipal, Centrum $42m investment in Jana Small Finance

Manipal Education and Medical Group chairman Ranjan Pai and Centrum Group have invested around Rs 300 crore in Jana Small Finance Bank, giving the Bengaluru-headquartered firm further ammunition to fight out rivals and scale up its business. The investment round valued Jana, formerly Janalakshmi Financial Services, at Rs 5,742 crore or $800 million, people directly aware of the matter said. — The Times of India
