Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia has invested Rs 152 crore in South Health Foods, which makes the Manna Foods range of health food products, reported the The Times of India.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Morgan Stanley Private Equity led by New Delhi-based partner Nivedita Tiwari and partner Anuradha Mukherjee leading the legal due diligence team.

J Sagar Associates (JSA) Chennai partner Aarthi Sivanandh led the deal Southern Health Foods, assisted by principal associate Bhavana Alexander. Food Sector/FSSAI issues in the transaction were handled by partner Dheeraj Nair and senior associate Kunal Kimani.
