Indus acts for Unacademy mega fundraise into two-billiion-dollar valuation territory with Bharucha, NDA, Gunderson

Education technology startup Unacademy has raised an undisclosed amount from Tiger Global Management and Dragoneer Investment Group, valuing the Bengaluru-based company at $2 billion. The latest investment comes just two months after Unacademy raised $150 million led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 at a valuation of $1.45 billion.

INDUSLAW advised Sorting Hat Technologies Private Limited, operating as Unacademy, led by a team of senior partner Suneeth Katarki and partner Rashi Saraf, with lawyers Ankita Gupta, Manisha Nayak and Nishihi Shah, reprising its role on the recent $150m round.
