L&L, Indus, ShookLin help L Catterton in D2C dental brand Zenyum’s $40m Series B with Sequoia, others

Singapore-based dental product brand Zenyum has raised $40 million in Series B funding led by L Catterton, according to a company announcement.

The investment was undertaken in the form of primary issuance of preference shares as part of the Series B funding round undertaken by Zenyum, one of Asia’s fastest-growing direct-to-consumer dental products brands. The funding round also saw participation from existing investors including Sequoia Capital, RTP Global, SEEDS Capital, Febe Ventures, Partech, Tekton and TNB.

L&L Partners advised L Catterton led by a team comprising partner Navin Syiem, managing associate Nitin Gera, senior associate Shruti Barua and associate Sameer Deval.

Induslaw advised Sequoia via SCI Investments and Surge Ventures led by a team of partner Siddharth Manchanda, and associate Rohit Jain.

Zenyum was advised in-house by Dheer Bhatnagar (chief of staff).

Shook Lin & Bok senior associate Dilshaad Kaur Lonj advised Zenyum on non-Indian laws.

Deal value: INR 292 crores approximately (USD 40 million)
