A China-based venture capital investor and US-based Accion Venture lab, which invests in micro lending start-ups, have invested $2m in a pre-series A investment in SmartCoin Financials, which also saw participation from existing investors, including early stage investor Unicorn India Ventures, ISME ACE, a Mumbai-based fin-tech accelerator, according to reports.

Link Legal India Law Services advised the unnamed Chinese VC and US-based Accion Venture Lab, led by a team of partner Santosh Pai and associate Tanvi Goyal.

Also advising on the deal was KLaw.
