Under Taj Hotels current general counsel Rajendra Misra, the iconic Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai is set to join the rare registered trademark category of what are known as “image marks”. The Louvre in Paris is another one.

Former Hindustan Unilever senior legal counsel Rajendra Misra has joined the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces group as general counsel (GC) several days ago, taking over part of the role that was previously handled by the group’s company secretary and vice president legal Beejal Desai.
