A Delhi district court today heard the appeal of publishing house Juggernaut against an order restraining it from publishing the book “Godman to Tycoon: The Untold Story of Baba Ramdev”.

The Competition Appellate Tribunal (Compat) has set aside Rs 64 crores of fines ordered by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) against Sanofi Pasteur India and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical, which the CCI had found cartellised the market for meningococcal vaccines, which are procured by the Government of India for vaccinating Hajj pilgrims.

The Competition Appellate Tribunal (Compat) has rejected an appeal by Jitendra Bhargava, a former executive director Air India, who complained that the Competition Commission had cleared the merger between the two airlines without a detailed assessment.
